:: 4 Easy Money Online Channels ::

There are so many links (check out my compilation at http://millionleads.googlepages.com/home) to making money online. Whilst some of them work , most of the rest simply just convince you to part with a small part of your money in a bid to earn big bucks! Apparently 98% of online marketing ventures fail. So that makes 2% successful ones, which is why I have decided not to invest in online marketing tools.

That's why I only use those which require free sign ups and I am going to list a few of those which I am using.

I know some people will ask, how can you make lots of money without investing? But personally, in this senario, I rather earn small than to lose big. Would you agree?

Anyway, no harm signing up and trying out some of these free passive income generating tools.

1) EmailCashPro

http://www.emailcashpro.com

Basically, you will receive Paid Emails that match your profile and interest. These emails will have subject headlines that start with **SoloAd**, followed by a description of the content of the Paid Email. Browse through the subject description. If you are interested in the subject, click on the link in the email to view the content. Click here for a screenshot of a sample Paid Email you will receive. Once you click on the Paid Link and visit the advertiser's website for 30 seconds, your account will be credited with 1 point. Your accumulated points will then be converted into cash credits on the first week of every month.

2) LeadsLeap (this tool will be more for internet marketers BUT not restricted to them only)

LeadsLeap Blog is probably the first viral blog in the world that not only allows you to advertise your ad for free, but also helps you to build leads and earn advertising credits at the same time.

Here's how it works:
We strive to share useful information in our blog. If you find any blog post that is interesting, post it to your own blog and bookmark it in your favorite social bookmarking websites.

3) Qassia

Qassia

Qassia is a website that allows website owners and webmasters to efficiently promote their web sites, hence increasing web traffic (... which translate to more revenue). Those promoting their websites on Qassia are rewarded with traffic and exposure for their websites in their web directory. The ultimate goal of this site is to obviate the need for link exchanges or submissions to web directories during the SEO (search engine optimization) process, and to instead focus website promotion activity on the development of original content.
Unfortunately, Qassia is now in the Beta stages which access is not possible through their main site. Sign-ups for now are by invitation now. However, if you want, I can provide you in through my affiliate link http://ad8cents.qassia.com/

4) Scour Search Engine (Beta)

Scour is a search engine with Google/Yahoo/MSN results and user comments all on one page.
Get paid for using it by earning points with every search, comment and vote. The points are redeemable for Visa gift cards! It's like earning credit card or airline points just for searching!

This is probably one of the easiest way of the methods listed above. Instead of using Google to do your internet searches, do it with Scour instead. You still get the same results but the only difference is you get PAID by doing so!!

So here are the 4 of the easiest online money channels which I think will work for you. If you've got any feedback, pls contact me.
Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of the weekly reads below.

All the Best!

Today we are going to discuss real ways to make money online. This is a question posted by Ken Drake. Here’s his question:

“I have been working on the internet for 4 years now, seriously, trying to find something that really makes money and as of yet I haven’t made but $1. I’ve read books and more books about internet marketing and MLM and Google and on and on but no matter how many ads I place on over 20 sites, either I get no response or I get someone wanting to sell me something. What should I do?” - Ken Drake

Which Internet Marketing Guru should you follow?

I’m quite sure that you have constantly been bombarded with offers from different internet marketing gurus asking you to buy their products or other guru’s products.

The problem is, every product looks good. Even if you have money to buy all of them, you wouldn’t have the time to study them!

The secret, my friend, is to be selective in which guru you listen to.

Let me share with you a little experience of mine:

Some time ago, someone called me on my mobile phone asking if I was interested in making an extra $50,000 in the next three months.

Well, I bothered to answer that call because she was calling from an internet marketing guru’s office. I know that guru and I’ve purchased some high ticket items from him. That’s probably the reason why they have my number in the first place.

So I told her, “Yes, I’m interested.”

She went on to sell me a coaching program from another guru, whom I have not heard before, in a tactful and professional way and frankly, I was impressed.

Before deciding on whether to buy the coaching program, the first thing I did was to Google for the name of this guru and find out how he makes money.

Based on my research, this guru is a national speaker in the self-help industry. He has written many books and been featured in the national TVs. (I don’t know him because I live in Singapore, not US.)

If you remove all the bells and whistles, this guru basically makes money conducting seminars and coaching programs teaching people how to be successful.

I have no intention to become a speaker, nor am I interested to start any coaching program. So whatever experience that this guru is irrelevant to me.

What I’m try to tell you is don’t blindly listen to a guru simply because he is famous. Look behind the scene and find out what he does for living.

If what the guru does is what you envision to do, by all means, listen to everything he says. Or else, that guru is NOT your guru.

Get what I mean?

The difference between an add-on and a sub domain

"...what is the difference between an add-on and a sub domain, and what do you use each one for? I know you can host several different websites, or pages but, which do you use for what?"

An add-on domain is a new domain, such as domain123.com, domain456.com, domain567.com. You have to buy a new domain name whenever you want to add an add-on domain to your hosting account. A sub-domain is a domain derived from your existing domain. Let's say your existing domain is domain123.com, you can have unlimited sub-domain such as abc.domain123.com, xyz.domain123.com and so on.

Whenever you want to start a new project, there are 3 types of website structure you can consider.

1) A brand new domain (i.e. an add-on domain)
2) A subdomain
3) A subdirectory (simply a sub-folder of your domain)

If you are starting a new project in a completely different niche, it's obvious that you should buy a new domain and host it as an add-on domain. But if you are starting a new project in the same niche, you will have to think which of the 3 structures above you should adopt.
Let's say you have a website called esuccessonline.com, and you are thinking of starting a blog related to online success, you have 3 options to structure your new blog.

1) A brand new domain - you can call it esuccessonlineblog.com
2) A subdomain - you can call it blog.esuccessonline.com
3) A subdirectory - you can call it esuccessonline.com/blog

1) From SEO perspective

If your original website esuccessonline.com is already well established, with a decent PR, you may NOT want to start a brand new domain just for your blog. This means option 1 is out.

If you use option 2 or 3, you can pass the credibility of your original domain to your blog, which is in either a subdomain or subdirectory. This will help your new blog and subsequent blog posts to get ranked in the search engines faster and better. Also your new blog content will help boost your original website. So it's a win-win situation.

2) From branding perspective

If you plan to brand your blog in the future, then you should start a new domain called esuccessonlineblog.com. In general, as long as you intend to brand your new project as a new entity, it's always a good idea to register a new domain for it.

3) "Expandability" issues

If you envision that your blog is going to be very big and it may require a lot of server resources, then it may be a good idea to start your blog in a new domain or subdomain, not a subdirectory.

To understand why, let me explain the technical difference between a subdomain and subdirectory. A subdomain can be technically treated as a new domain, in the sense that it can be hosted separately from its root domain. This means you can have blog.esuccessonline.com and esuccessonline.com hosted on different servers. But this cannot be done for esuccessonline.com/blog.

As such, if you expect your blog (or whatever new project you have) to consume a lot of server resources, your current server may not be sufficient to satisfy your needs. In such case, if you start your new project in a new domain or subdomain, you can always host it on another server in the future.

One good example is Google.com. Google.com is a brand. Everything it does must enhance its brand "Google". So when Google started Google Map, which obviously requires a lot of server resources, it only has 2 choices. Google can either call it GoogleMaps.com or maps.google.com.

And you should know their decision. It's logical to make that decision too. They call it maps.google.com.

4) To boost your Alexa ranking

More and more people, especially in the internet marketing niche, look at the Alexa ranking of a website as a means to gauge the credibility of the website. So if you want to boost the Alexa ranking of your website, it may be a good idea to put all your projects under one domain. This means you can either use a subdomain or subdirectory.

Take Google and Yahoo as a case study. Google names its international websites in separate domains, such as google.com.sg, but Yahoo names its international websites as a subdomain, such as sg.yahoo.com. The result is yahoo.com is now ranked #1 in Alexa ranking. I believe if Google were to consolidate all its international websites under google.com., it should rank #1 in Alexa ranking.

The Conclusion?

There is no conclusion. It really depends on what you want to do now and in the future. New domain costs money but it looks professional. Subdomain is free and it's technically as flexible as a new domain, but it's not as professional. Yet, if you want to create a mega website like Google.com, subdomain can give you a lot of leverage. Subdirectory is the simplest option for website structuring. If branding and server requirement are non-issue, it's always easier to just use a subdirectory.

What did Jon do to make $99 per mth

Jon wrote:

66 visitors, 13 downloads, 3 sales, $99

September 4, 2008

Not excited by the prospect of making $99 in a month? You should be. Why do I say that, and what did I do to make my brand new, 2 page web site earn about a hundred bucks in one month? Let me tell you.

Why You Should Be Interested

First of all, to build your enthusiasm for the results of this case study, let me lay out a few figures that can be derived from 66 visitors, 13 downloads, 3 sales and $99.

$99 from 66 visitors is $1.50 per visitor.

Think about that. On a great day you'll earn $1.50 per click from AdSense ads on a page, but even with a good click-through rate of 10%, you need 10 visitors to earn that $1.50. That means you're really only earning 15 cents per visitor on average. The methods I used for this case study earned 10 times that per-visitor value.

3 sales from 66 visitors is a 4.5% conversion rate.

A 4.5% conversion rate is great for an affiliate product (which is what was used in this case study). It's far better when you consider that the product was a free software download that the user had to choose to register for a fee — which is when I got paid. Conversion rates for software registration are typically far lower than conversion rates for pay-first products. But in this case, of the 13 people who downloaded the software in the last month, 3 people bought. That's 23%! Very nice indeed.

It only took 6 weeks to get a #3 ranking in Google for the keywords that earned the $99.

Yup, a mere six weeks after putting the brand-new, 2 page case study site into the 3WayLinks Network, I had a #3 ranking in Google for my chosen keywords.

How I Did It

Now to get to heart of the matter: how did I do it? It's actually very simple.

  1. I created a simple 2 page site that pitched the product and provided a link to download the software.
  2. I put the site in the 3WayLinks network, using the name of the product as my primary keywords.
  3. I gave the site a title that looks like this: [PRODUCT NAME] - GET IT FREE! — Do you see why a title like that will draw clicks from the searchers who might otherwise have clicked on the #1 result instead?

Why It Works

Ranking for the name of a product is a great way to earn easy affiliate commissions. The reasons for this are threefold.

  1. Conversion rates are higher.

If somebody is searching for the specific name of a product in Google, they are obviously much more interested in the product, and therefore are a lot easier to sell the product to.

  2. Competition is lower.

If you look for software products (or other digital products) that aren't immensely popular, you'll find that there's not much competition for the product name in Google. That means it's really easy to rank for the name of the product — and fast.

  3. It's easy to "rinse and repeat."

Since the web site is incredibly simple to build (2 pages, no fancy graphics or expensive templates), it's also very easy to duplicate. Just find another product to create a site around and repeat the process over and over again.

3WayLinks lets you put 50 web sites in your account. Think about that: if you can build 50 sites that, on average, earn a target goal of $3 a day, that's $4,500 a month, or $54,000 a year — on autopilot.

Where can you find such digital products whose product name you can rank for? They're all over the place: ClickBank, PayDotCom, and RegSoft are all loaded with software and digital products that you can be an affiliate for. Create the sites, drop them into 3WayLinks (or 1WayLinks.net, which is also proving incredibly successful) and wait for the commissions to arrive.

To find out how competitive the keywords are for the product names, just go to Google's keyword tool and do an "Exact" match search for the product name. Look for product names that get some searches, but not a lot.

My case study site targets a product name that only gets 210 searches a month, according to Google's keyword tool. The products that only get a few searches don't have anywhere near the competition, which means it's a lot easier to rank for the product names.

Google Optimization Myths and Truths

Jon L reported:

There's a great thread going on at WebmasterWorld about what Google really does and does not focus on in their search algorithms.

There is, of course, much being debated, but also there is some consensus:

  1. Google evaluates the content section of a page differently from the rest of the template (Truth).
The general consensus is that Google's algorithm puts less emphasis on links coming from the borders around the actual content of the page, and more on links within the content body itself. So when trying to get links into your site from other sites, see if you can get them to link to you from inside one of their articles or pages.
  2. Using a dedicated IP address helps in ranking (Myth).

It's long been a rumor that having a dedicated IP address is better for your rankings. I've never seen that to be true, and apparently few of the webmasters at WMW see it as being true.

  3. Having non W3C compliant code will harm your site (Myth).

Your HTML doesn't need to be W3C compliant, though it does need to be error-free. I like to use the W3.org HTML Validator to check my pages.

Here's my favorite Truth that has come out of that discussion:

Google takes up far too much of our time and resources (Truth)

Focusing too much of your time and attention on one source of traffic whose algorithm is continually changing is a bad idea. Put most of your time into having a great site and getting a lot of links into your site, and good rankings and traffic will follow.

Some other forms of email advertising system

Something that I forgot to mention in the blog is that the same strategy can also be used for some other forms of email advertising system.

One such system that has given me good result is Viralurl.

I know many of you are already a member of Viralurl. If you are, try the strategy I use. Let me know if it works for you.

If you are not a member yet, let me share with you my experience......

Kenneth is a Gold Member of Viralurl. He can send his ad to 3000 members every 3 days. Members of Viralurl have higher purchasing power. The conversion for our One-Time-Offer is about 10%. Kenneth consider it as one of the best investments he has made.

There is a deal struck out with Viralurl to give our members some extra privilege.

If you join Viralurl, you will get 200 credits. The coupon code is LeadsLeapFree. You can enter the coupon code in your Viralurl members area.

If you upgrade to Gold, which I personally am for 6 months now, you will get 2000 credits. The coupon code is LeadsLeapGold.

Before you sign up, I need to remind you that as a member of Viralurl, you will receive about 20 emails a day from other members, unless you are a platinum member. As such, I don't advise you to use your primary email address to subscribe.

Viralurl is probably the most successful website of its kind and I urge you to get in as early as you can to get the full benefits.

Article Submission for Search Engine Rankings

It's not big news that submitting articles to free article sites is one of the best ways to get free one-way links into your sites. However, it's important that you think about your linking strategy when submitting articles, otherwise all of your efforts will be lost. Here's why.

Vary Your Anchor Text

The primary reason you want to submit articles is to get links back to your site, but how are you formatting that link in the resource box? You want to have the anchor text of the links to be the keywords you're wanting to rank for, yes, but it's important that you don't have the same anchor text in every link.

Why? Because if the search engines see that every link to your site contains the exact same anchor text, it's a red-flag that your links were not acquired naturally. People don't always behave the same, and search engines know that it's statistically impossible that every single person who links to your site will use the same link text.

So be sure to vary your link text. I like to reinforce my main keywords while also optimizing for related keywords. For instance, if your site's primary keywords are "kitchen remodeling", you could use a variation like "kitchen remodeling tips" or "kitchen remodeling advice" or "how to remodel your kitchen".

Those anchor texts still help reinforce your ranking for your primary keywords since they contain your primary keywords (or variations), but they also help you rank for lesser terms–and it's the lesser terms that are the easiest to rank for.

So when submitting to article sites, be sure and vary your anchor text, using your primary keywords about 70% of the time. This is simple enough to accomplish: just change your resource box for each site that you submit to.

Submit Slowly to Avoid the Sandbox

There is one school of thought that Google and Yahoo both penalize links that appear too fast. They basically wait for months before actually applying the value of those links to your ranking. This is referred to in the search engine optimization world as "sandboxing".

As of right now, MSN (under it's new name, Live) does not sandbox links. So if you're looking to rank and get some traffic going quickly, getting a lot of links fast will pay off with MSN. You'll just have to wait a while before seeing much results in Google and Yahoo.

If you're trying to rank in Google or Yahoo as quickly as possible, and if you're a believer in the sandbox theory, then you're best bet is to submit to the article sites a little more slowly. Maybe only submit to a few a week. This will cause your links to build more "naturally" from the search engines point of view.

If You're Not a Sandbox Believer…

There are other schools of SEO thought that claim sandboxing doesn't exist at all. Their theory is that it just takes a long time for the algorithm updates to hit Google and Yahoo so that your links are counted. If they are correct, then it's still best to get as many links as possible as quickly as possible, and then just wait for them to be applied.

What I Believe

I tend to lean away from the Sandbox theory myself, but not because I have a lot of emperical evidence that it doesn't exist. It just seems illogical to me for search engines to sandbox links just because they appear quickly.

For example, let's say there's some big news event that happens regarding some web site, and suddenly thousands of links appear from every news site covering that sector. Would it make sense for the search engines to ignore all of those links just because they appeared quickly? It was natural that they appear quickly, since the event was unexpected.

So I tend to believe that it just takes a while to update the rankings for billions of web pages, and therefore the links don't kick in immediately.

Summing it All Up

Whatever your Sandbox beliefs are, you can see that your linking strategy needs to be analyzed before you start submitting to article sites. Take a few minutes to come up with the list of keywords you want to rank for. Try to get at least five or six sets of keywords into your article resource boxes. Don't put all of your keywords into one basket, so to speak.

Taking a little time to plan out your submission strategy could save you from wasting all of that time only to find that the search engines have ignored your links because they think they're "not natural".

A Step By Step Guide To Promoting A New Website

the below contents can be found here

Many new marketers fail to start because they are not sure how to promote a new website.

So today I’m going to show you step by step what I normally do when I start a new website.

Before listing down the step by step instructions, I need to clarify that what I’m doing is to promote 15 to 40 pages Adsense website or product review website. It can be a static site or a blog.

“Why is it important to clarify on this?” You may ask.

This is because you can start many kinds of websites. Adsense or product review website is just one easy way to make ’small’ money online, but when you have 100s of these little sites, it’s more than enough to quit your job!

Other forms of website you can start include a squeeze page to build list, a mega service site like LeadsLeap, your own product site such as your own Clickbank product etc. The strategies required for these kinds of website is different from promoting Adsense or product review website.

For one, you can’t do any form of joint venture for Adsense or product review sites. You can do advertising, provided you know what you are doing. But search engine optimization is a surefire free traffic source that you can rely on and once you get such traffic, it’s going to serve you for years!

So in this article, when I say promoting a new website, I’m really talking about promoting it to get search engine traffic.

I’m not going to talk about on-page search engine optimization here. You can read it somewhere else or if you post a request below, I’ll probably discuss it in my next blog post.

Today, what I’m going to share with you is off-page optimization, which is all about building link juice to your website.

Ok, I hope by now you get the whole picture and are ready to see the simple steps that I use for all my little sites that are enough to earn me a full time income.

Step 1 - Bookmark 1 page of your website at Digg and Propeller

This is the first thing you should do once your website is ready. Just choose any 1 page and bookmark it at Digg and Propeller. This will get your website indexed by Google, usually in less than 3 days.

Warning: Don’t bookmark more than 1 page and if you have tons of websites that look similar, make sure you open different accounts to bookmark or your account may be suspended. I have my account suspended twice! Technically speaking, you shouldn’t bookmark your own website. But if you do it under the radar, it is the fastest way to get your website indexed.

Step 2 - Write 5 articles and post to as many article directories as possible

Some of the directories you must “hand” submit to are Ezinearticles, ArticleDashBoard, Buzzle, GoArticles.

Next, take up a lifetime membership here and submit all your articles there. From my experience, 5 article submissions will give you 100-200 backlinks.

Step 3 - Submit your website to link directories

There is an argument on whether submitting to link directories is still effective as a form of link building. I’ve been doing it since 2006 as an integral part of the whole process and frankly I’m not sure what would happen if I stop doing it. Maybe one day I should try!

However, one thing for sure is the links count. If you do a link search for some high PR sites, you’ll see that many links come from link directories. If you believe that every link to your website will help you in your search engine ranking, submitting your website to link directories is a great way to get tons of one way link.

You can either do it yourself, which was what I did when I first started, or if you have the budget, get a freelancer to submit for you. You can get some cheap bargain here.

Step 4 - Set up 3 way link exchange

You probably are familiar with 3 way link. Yes, it’s one of my favorite tools too. If you are new, 3 way link is a little too ‘expensive’ for you. The price is $47 a month. Get it when you have 10-20 websites.

That’s all I do whenever I launch a new Adsense or product review site. Even without step 4, just by doing step 1 to 3 will get your website to PR 2-3.

What can you do with a PR 2-3 website?

Well, besides making money from Adsense and affiliate sales, you can sell link and make another $20 a month from each website you own. You can read about selling text links in this post.
